Pro/ Resident DJ’s are committed to entertaining every passenger on every ship, by hosting as MC while performing, reading the crowd appropriately, taking requests graciously, communicating with a smile, and mixing music smartly and creatively. Pro/ Resident DJ’s pride themselves on working with all other entertainment staff to ensure the optimum delivery of the cruise line’s product, in any venue onboard. Onboard venues, in addition to dance clubs, include poolside and deck areas, various lounges and bars, and a host of other venues.

Qualifications:

• Professional, hardworking and enthusiastic disc jockeys who love to entertain people and make sure they have a great time.
• Advanced mixing techniques including mixing across genres within Open Format programming.
• Advanced knowledge of a variety of popular music encompassing major genres from the 1960’s through today.
• Advanced equipment knowledge and ability to troubleshoot any issue associated with running a complete DJ system in a nightclub environment.
• Ability to operate Serato DJ at a professional level as well as knowledge of Pioneer and/or Roland controllers.
• English fluency as well as an understanding of North American culture and humor.
• The ability to create engaging musical experiences by extending beyond a performer into an entertainer.
