The Caribbean Band delivers high-energy, engaging performances by providing an authentic Caribbean music experience. In addition, select ships may utilize the Caribbean Band to provide additional musical support for production shows, branded events, or in conjunction with other musical acts on board.

Qualifications:

• An ensemble of one of the following configurations: Three, four or five members
• Advanced individual musical proficiency as a vocalist and/or instrumentalist. The more members that are able to sing, the better.
• Advanced ensemble musicianship.
• An extensive song repertoire of Caribbean and American Top 40 mainstream hits from the 70s through today.
• Outgoing and flexible personalities.
• Ability to authentically represent the culture, music, and humor of a nation within the Caribbean islands.
• Demonstrated ability to create and lead a party.
• Applicable performing experiences on cruise ships, resorts, hotels, and high-traffic tourist areas.
• English fluency and near-perfect diction are required.
• Ability to stand while performing.
